There is No Watch: The Tale About My Erotic Hypno-Orgasm

There is No Watch: The Tale About My Erotic Hypno-Orgasm

There were many reasons why I ventured to New York a few months ago. To see a prolific part of the world. To get a handle on whether I could live there. To explore all it had to offer.
So I guess when I set up time with Neil the Erotic Hypnotist, I was exploring some of the more uncharted regions of what the city had to offer.

What does an erotic hypnotist actually do? Well I first heard about this phenomenon via a VICE article a couple of years ago. In the article the writer details how Neil put him under, and helped induce the most intense orgasm of his life using the power of hypnotism. Put simply, when I knew I was going to the US, I had to know what this was like. So I filled out the enquiry form on his site, and got an email shortly after confirming some details.

And there it was – on Wednesday the 16th July – I had my session booked in Manhattan.

Enter the world of tantra

I’m a pretty open-minded guy. I’m literally an open-book (see book). I’m also massively into learning more about self-development. In the last year or so, I’ve been reading and getting more into something known as tantra. There are many instances of this practice in pop culture. Sting once inadvertently blurted out he has sex for hours with this wife, it’s joked about in Austin Powers, and in the movie Go! one of the characters detailed his experience:

Thing is, most people really don’t know how to make love. They just put it in and move it around until they get off. What tantra teaches you is how to prolong and deepen the experience, bring it to a higher level. If one man in ten were having the sex I’m having, there would be no war. -Marcus, from the movie Go!

Before reading much, I assumed tantra was some new-age gobbledegook that had you withholding orgasms to no result. But the rabbit hole goes much deeper than that. There are a few things I uncovered as I read, things such as:

  • It’s possible to separate ejaculation and orgasm (they’re not the same thing)
  • It’s possible for males to have multiple, full-body orgasms
  • It’s possible to orgasm from things other than direct stimulation
    and more…

The uncovering of these facts had been fun, and without a doubt improved my sex-life. For someone that had really got into meditation and was interested in sexuality, tantra seemed like a progressive extension of these things. By the time I had caught up with Neil, I had the ability to hold onto orgasm, induce via sound, and experience full-body pleasure in place of ejaculating.

So what happens when you combine it with hypnotism?

I was sitting down with Neil in my hotel room. He was fielding my excited questions with the detached objectivity of a professional. I explained some of my rules (I was keeping my pants on), but that otherwise I was very open-minded and into tantra and meditation.

“Oh this will be fun”, I remember Neil saying. He explained that with my ability to relax via meditation and what I was into, that it should be rather easy to build in “triggers” that could activate good feelings. We talked a bit about things that I would like, and assured me he would be able to deliver.

He fielded a few more questions, detailed the history of hypnotism and his own experiences, and as he droned on, I felt myself relaxing and getting caught in his gaze more and more.

The main event

I was lying on my bed shirtless, and Neil started murmuring things with my eyes shut. As someone that was morbidly curious about the technique, and had preconceived ideas about what hypnotism was, the actual process was a bit of an anti-climax. Neil would talk about relaxing, being even more relaxed, offer countdowns, and shift the location of his voice in various ways. At some stage he asked me to open my eyes.

“Good”.

I went back under again, and using the same process, Neil started building “associations” with good feelings and certain ways of touching. I wasn’t fully paying attention, but when he counted down again and I opened my eyes I had a feeling something would happen. He smiled and grabbed my wrist. I started shuddering and vibrating all over with pleasure.

“Does that surprise you?” He grinned.

Then it was really down to business. It wasn’t dissimilar to a guided meditation, where you’re lead to certain areas and the like, all I really remember was being super relaxed and some key words being mentioned. I came to this time, and Neil had the satisfied smile of someone that’s done a good job.

“Close your eyes and think: horny”. I did. All of a sudden I felt an urgent desire to have sex. It was fantastic. “Close your eyes and think: not horny, to turn it off”. I did, and it faded away as quickly as it came.

“Close your eyes and think: sensitive skin”. I did, and my skin felt tingly and ready to be pleased.

“Close your eyes and think: orgasm”. I did, and my body started involuntarily shuddering with pleasure, mainly around the head, but feeling great all over. As it subsided, I thought the word again to send it into a new wave of pleasure. After a while, I realised Neil was still in the room and thought no orgasm, to make it stop.

Post-hypno glow

I thanked Neil profusely and paid him $250 for his service. He was very gracious afterwards and also mentioned that while it might be tricky with the Australian time difference, he could offer sessions over Skype. He also said that the “triggers” would dissipate over time without practice. By this stage, I was thinking “yeah, yeah, yeah” and keen to get back to some practice. I closed my hotel door behind him, and let’s just say the next hour or so was very, very enjoyable.

My life continued. I got back from holiday. I enjoyed life. And true to Neil’s word, the ability to think these kind of things has diminished over time. Although – it’s now three months after the fact and I can still think a bit of extra spark in the bedroom. Which is nice.

Initially after the experience, I basically told every one in my vicinity that I could, it was a garbled story – but it must be heard! I wasn’t quite sure where to put it online, but given this blog has now morphed into a vehicle for my self-development and learning pursuits I decided to chuck it in here.

There are a number of books I’d recommend if you’re interested in the world of tantra, including:

  • Mantak Chia’s The Multi-Orgasmic Male
  • Barbara Carellas’ Urban Tantra
  • Kerry Riley’s Tantric Secrets for Men
And of course, if you’re ever in New York City and curious, I encourage you to get in touch with Neil
