blast from your past
Hi there,
You’re getting this email out of the blue from me (Luke Marshall) because once upon a time you bought my book - Being Bi-Bi: a memoir on mental health and sexuality. Here’s a link to the original campaign and where your email address originated from.
That was 10 years ago, and lots of things have happened since then, but there’s a few things I want you to know before this list disappears completely.
- The book is still available at lukemarshall.net/being-bi-bi and is free with the code forgoodcause through a platform called Gumroad. Since publishing I’ve flipped on/off with it being public at various times, and with a guest podcast appearance being released soon, it was a good as a time as any to flick the switch always on.The ebook was updated to feature the same chapter titles as the published edition, something that only came to my attention much later than it should and… let it go Marshy. If you do redeem the ebook with the code - please leave a review (stars or words) as it will help others decide if the book is for them.
- I’m almost done writing a second book with very different subject matter. After recovering from my mental health scare I went on to have a rewarding digital marketing career. Start Marketing seeks to answer the question I get from friends, family, and randoms the most - how can I learn how to market my thing? The book is launching in April, and if you’d like to be notified of its release sign up at startmarketingbook.com - you’ll get a preview of the book cover, and anyone who signs up will have access to the book for free (a price will be added after the first two weeks). So if that interests you please sign-up via the link above.
- The biggest news happening in April is not the book launch - it’s that I’m going to be a father to twin boys who are due then!I couldn’t be more pleased. I’m taking 6-12 weeks off work to focus on this new adventure, changing nappies, and giving something to two young souls that I grew up without.
That’s it.
Thanks for humouring my blast from the past.
If you’d like to follow on the socials I’m on LinkedIn and Instagram these days.
And if you’ve got any questions shoot them my way - it’d be great to hear from you.
Keep smiling,Marshy
