Creating your offer

“What comes first is the idea, the passion, the dream of the work we are so excited to create that it scares the hell out of us.”

  • Steven Pressfield, Do the Work

You’ve found an audience with potential customers. You have partnered with someone to access that audience and teach them something with value.

Now that you’ve done that work, it’s time follow up with an offer.

Your offer is a follow-on from what you’ve just done. If someone enjoyed what you had to say, share, or provide, your offer is the next step people can take to get more from you.

This approach is different to interrupting someone and yelling about what you do.

It’s also more educational and helps set you up to continue doing marketing with no ceiling.

Even global CEOs need to show up to certain audiences and communicate value.

It’s different of course, but the principles remain the same.

It’s also exciting.

It takes a lot of work to get to this point and have people seeking out more of you or you product, so creating a good offer helps maximise the opportunity you’ve created.

This section is going to help you come up with an offer, the next will help you word your offer, and then you’ll learn how to design your offer.

So let’s “O”!

What did you think?

Tell me what landed, what didn't, or what's missing.
